“The kitchen at 6:47 AM.”
You’re making coffee. Your dog is on his place — he’s been there for twenty minutes without being told. He’ll wait there until you release him, because that’s the rhythm of the household now. Yours, his, settled.
Comprehensive in-house training for families who want a dog they can actually live with — built in our facility, backed by the Agoge Commitment, designed for the family that refuses to settle.
Four scenes from a household after the program. They are not aspirational. They are the standard.
“The kitchen at 6:47 AM.”
You’re making coffee. Your dog is on his place — he’s been there for twenty minutes without being told. He’ll wait there until you release him, because that’s the rhythm of the household now. Yours, his, settled.
“The first ring at dinnertime.”
The door rings. Your dog goes to his place. No barking. No charging. No chaos at the threshold. You answer the door and have an actual conversation with the person on the other side, because your dog isn’t part of the equation anymore.
“Saturday brunch, twelve weeks in.”
You’re at the restaurant you’ve wanted to take him to since the day you brought him home. He’s lying at your feet. The server walks by twice. He doesn’t move. The couple at the next table leans over to comment, and you smile because you remember what this used to look like.
“Sunday morning, three miles in.”
The leash is loose. He’s at your side. A jogger passes, then a cyclist, then another dog. He registers each one, looks at you, and keeps going. The walk you’ve been imagining since the day you picked him up is finally the walk you actually take.

What enrollment delivers, from drop-off to alumni.
24/7 supervision at our private Hartsville facility — never in a trainer’s home, never a leased commercial unit, never boarded out to a third party.
Built around your dog’s specific behaviors, your household, and your goals. Not a one-size-fits-all script.
Every dog gets veterinary fecal screening within 48 hours of arrival, and is weighed on a vet scale daily. Internal welfare standards we hold ourselves to — so that every dog in the program is protected, including yours.
Each week, you see real footage from your dog’s actual training sessions. The work, the wins, the moments where we course-correct. Not photos. Not paragraphs. Video.
If anything material shifts in your dog’s wellness or progress, you hear from us the same day. You’re never routed through a CRM or a chatbot.
A two-to-three-hour session with you, your family, and your dog on the day the program ends — at our facility or in your home, depending on the program. We build the routine that makes the training stick.
Scheduled check-ins in the weeks after your dog goes home, to keep the training integrating into your daily life.
We keep working until the standard is met. No clock to beat. No overage fees. The investment you commit to at the start is the investment, period.
Not for everyone. By design.
If you see yourself in the right column, the next step is a conversation.
We work with your dog until you have the dog you signed up for. If we haven’t hit the standard by program end, we keep working — at no additional cost — until we do.
No clock to beat. No upgrade fees. No surprises. Every dog gets the same protocol, the same standard, and the same outcome reliability — regardless of how long it takes us to get there.
What happens between your first inquiry and your dog’s first day.
Submit a consultation request or call us directly. We respond within one business day to schedule a time to talk.
A short phone conversation comes first — just to understand what’s going on with your dog. If we’re a fit, we schedule an in-person consultation (typically 60 to 90 minutes) where we meet your dog, assess the situation, and walk through which program fits.
When you’re ready, we schedule your dog’s start date — pending availability. From the moment your dog arrives at our facility, the work is in motion — backed by The Agoge Commitment.
Different dogs, different goals. The same Agoge Commitment behind every one.

Before you reach out — the answers most people want first.
Yes. Our facility sits on 20 acres of private land in Hartsville, Tennessee, about 50 minutes east of Nashville. Every dog enrolled in our board-and-train programs lives and learns on-site for the duration of the program — never in a trainer’s home, never in a leased commercial unit, never boarded out to a third party.
The facility includes purpose-built indoor and outdoor training environments, an exclusive-access veterinary lab on the property for parasite and wellness testing, and dedicated boarding spaces designed for the welfare standards we hold ourselves to.
Multiple staff members live on-site, which means 24/7 monitoring for every dog in the program. No after-hours gap. No overnight third party. The staff caring for your dog at 8 AM is the same staff caring for your dog at 3 AM.
Visits are by appointment only because the dogs in active programs deserve a focused training environment, not foot traffic.
You get weekly video updates of your dog’s actual training sessions. Each week, you’ll see the work, the wins, and the moments where we course-correct.
But that weekly video is the surface. Underneath is our standard for health and welfare excellence — managed through our custom Agoge Excellence app, a proprietary system built specifically for the way we run programs. Every dog gets daily vet-scale weight tracking, training session logs, feeding records, and behavior notes, monitored against built-in digital safeguards that flag any drift in health metrics the moment it appears. If anything material shifts in your dog’s wellness or progress, you hear from us the same day.
We send video, not photos, because video tells the truth about training. A photo can be staged. A video shows your dog actually doing the work.
The Agoge Commitment is the answer:
“We work with your dog until you have the dog you signed up for. If we haven’t hit the standard by program end, we keep working — at no additional cost — until we do.”
There is no clock to beat. There are no upgrade fees. Every dog gets the same protocol, the same standard, and the same outcome reliability — regardless of how long it takes us to get there.
We built it this way because we believe extending your investment over your dog’s welfare is a conflict of interest. The flat-rate guarantee removes that conflict. Our incentive is to do the work right the first time and stake our reputation on it.
We handle this case-by-case, based on what’s best for your dog’s adjustment and training progress.
Some dogs settle in quickly and a mid-program visit reinforces the bond without disrupting the work. Other dogs are still acclimating, and an unscheduled visit can set the training back days or weeks. We make that judgment based on the individual dog and discuss it with you openly.
What we don’t do is open the facility to general visitation. The dogs in active programs deserve a focused environment, and we take their welfare seriously enough to protect it — even from well-meaning interruptions.
On the day your dog finishes the program, we run a thorough go-home lesson with you, your family, and your dog. The session takes two to three hours and is held either at our facility or in your home, depending on the program you chose. During that time, we cover exactly what needs to happen to keep the training on track — and we help you build a daily routine that fits your lifestyle without overtaxing the family.
From there, we schedule on-site follow-up lessons in the weeks that follow — typically one within two to four weeks of your dog going home, and another at the four-week mark — to make sure the training keeps integrating.
Once the first 30 days are behind you, our Alumni Maintenance Programs are available to help you keep everything sharp long-term. The point isn’t just to send a trained dog home — it’s to make sure the training holds.
Honest answer? It depends on what you’re actually looking for.
If what you want is a cookie-cutter, two-or-three-thousand-dollar program that runs every dog through the same script — this isn’t that. We do things with excellence the first time, so they never have to be done again.
If what you want is a solution tailored to your specific dog and your family’s situation — then we’re your people. Our programs are built around the individual dog, not pulled off a shelf.
Beyond that, pricing depends on which program tier fits best, how many dogs you’re enrolling, and whether there are behavioral needs that shape the program structure. All of that matters more than a number on a webpage.
That’s why we walk through investment together during your consultation. You get a clear, honest read on what this looks like for your situation — and we get to make sure you’re matched to the right program, not sold whatever’s in front of you.
Beyond the investment itself, you get The Agoge Commitment:
“We work with your dog until you have the dog you signed up for. If we haven’t hit the standard by program end, we keep working — at no additional cost — until we do.”
Flat-rate. No overage fees. No surprises. The investment you commit to at the start is the investment, period.
Ask yourself honestly: how many other dog training companies would make that commitment?
